They fixed the 2 issues very quickly but I do feel we were gouged on the price for repair on a swamp cooler. I can say they were also very polite and professional though.
I contacted Wasatch Heating and Air on July 11 2015 because my A/C would not turn on. Wayne came out and got right to work. He found the issue and promptly repaired it. He went over the issue with me and I requested he do a periodic service check each spring. Wayne explained it to me in terms I could readily understand. I then requested that he repair the unit ASAP. He did so and my A/C was functioning in no time.

After having a dispute that hit just about everything I could feel off about they sent a tech out to repair the work that wasn’t working and the owners Amanda and Mike rectified it professionally and courteously. Something that happens rarely is people listening and trying to truly make things better and a reminder of why I keep using them still.

I cannot recommend this company enough!!! We were previously told by someone else that we needed a whole new system and quoted us over $7,000! Wasatch came out an fixed the AC for $330! I will recommend Wasatch to everyone!

I had never had trouble with the heater but the AC a Carrier had problems off and on after two years. This summer it started to get worse and I called Wasatch Air and spoke with the lady on the phone and she was a big help. Had a problem with my condenser they set a tech out and he had it fix with in 30 minutes of arrival
We bought a carrier air conditioner from them in 2019. It started having some off and on problems, I called and the receptionist that answers the phone there, talk to the owner, they sent a technician out, they fixed it and now it's working as good as new.
Greg came out, did a full diagnostic on my air conditioner, and fixed a problem that no other technician or business could figure out after 2 years of trying to solve the issue that had developed.
They didn't let me down, or abandon me. They were honest, reliable, and stuck with me to make sure it was fixed. I'm very pleased overall with their service. This is a company that you can count on and will stand by their work.

Wasatch Heating and Air Inc. Has done numerous jobs for us including installation of at least 2 new furnaces. The did the jobs at the quoted price and at the time they said they would do it. Highly recommend their services.
Pricing for a whole New furnace and air conditioning was much much cheaper than anybody else. Same quality, same equipment, and fast delivery and installation. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Always dependable repairs done parts usually are available on truck. Live 125 miles from their shop they come prepared to fix most repairs.
Have a older house on 1st east in Tooele. After fighting with heater for a couple years it was time to replace. Called Wasatch who just did a system for a friends renovation on Bonneville way. Heater was over twenty years and A/C was older. Went with a high efficiency cost effective system replaced both. It has been nice not dealing with or having to. Found a few problems and took care of them on the spot before installation. Fast and friendly. Tear out and replace in one day. Thanks again.

My AC unit went out in the heat and right before my house sold. Wasatch was here the next day! They were upfront and honest and did everything they could to save me money. I was educated on a lot of aspects of my furnace and I really appreciated that. I highly recommend them as a business. Their customer service and technician Nick was awesome!
Wayne, Dallas and Nick did an amazing job from start to finish! Completely overhauled my entire system and upgraded to a new AC and furnace. A+ for the overall price and experience.

Just wanted to give a huge thank you to Wasatch Heating and Air. I've known Wayne and most of his crew for a long time being in the same line of work as he them. I recently moved out of state, and sure enough, my mom's air conditioner went out. I reached out to Wayne because I know I can trust him to to 1: take great care of my mom, and 2: give her an honest and fair price for the repairs. Wasatch was out the next day to diagnose the problem, and had everything repaired the same day. Thank you so much for all the hard work, and for treating my mom so well.
Wayne and his staff came to the rescue when my furnace started putting unsafe levels of Carbon Monoxide into my house. They were there within a hour of my call to diagnose the issue and found that the combustion chamber had a hole rusted into it. It was determined that we should replace the furnace and AC unit at the same time. Within a couple of days they had everything installed and working better than my original equipment. All I can say is that after 10 years of working with Wasatch they never have disappointed me in their ability to be there when needed. Thanks Wayne for always being there!

Due to some unforeseen housing circumstances, my cats have had to live out of a hot garage the past month. I reached out to Wasatch, and Wayne was able to come by and install a new swap-cooler the same day. The pricing was reasonable, the service was great, and my cats are cool and happy. Thanks Wayne!
My neighbor Tom's air conditioner quit working so he called a company out of Salt Lake and they sent out a technician. The technician told Tom that he needed a new circuit board and a new blower motor which would run him about $2000 to fix it or close to $10,000 to put in a brand new unit. He is old, retired and on a fixed income and can't afford it and went to the bank and got a loan. When he told me about this I couldn't believe it and I told him to hold off and let me get a hold of Wayne at Wasatch Heating and air. I called Wayne and explained the situation, and Wayne said that that's way too much and he will come out in the morning and take a look. Wayne and one of his technicians showed up the next morning, put in a rebuilt circuit board and got it running. They also tested the blower motor and found nothing wrong with it. Wayne felt bad about the other company trying to screw my neighbor over and didn't charge him a dime, and saved him $10,000! This is how companies use to treat people, so it's awesome to see that there are still some good companies out there. I am writing this for my neighbor Tom because he doesn't have modern technology, just a phone book and a house phone. I wish I could give 10 stars but it only let's you do 5. I highly recommend Wasatch Heating and air, Wayne and any of his employees if you need anything fixed right and not get ripped off!!!
Our ac went out in the hottest part of the year and we needed help quick! Wasatch was there within a few days helping us get a brand new one! They were on time, courteous, and very explanatory on what they were doing. can't forget how nice they were to my dog! Nick and his team are very passionate about their work ,and make sure to do it right the first time so it will last!!! thank you Wasatch!!!
Nick from Wasatch came by and looked into our HVAC open limit switch. He was very knowledgeable, throughout and most importantly honest. It was very nice to find someone trustworthy and transparent. Based on what I personally saw Nick do, the depth into which he had to go into our HVAC to clean it, those other company who offer those cheap services are really doing nothing. I will reach out to Wasatch again with any HVAC issue.

After the hail storm on 7/19/23 we noticed our house was really hot and our AC wasn’t turning on. The next day we called two local companies, Wasatch Heating and Air and One Stop Heating and Air. One Stop could come out sooner but we kept both appointments just in case.
One Stop came out same-day, but after only a few minutes told us the dreaded news that both our entire AC and furnace needed to be replaced. He said electrical surges from the storm caused them to short out and they were essentially fried. He pulled up some financing options and said we were looking at anywhere from 9-14k and pushed for the best/most expensive option. We have never jumped into a large purchase without first doing research, so we told him that we would like to hold off for a day or so to decide. He wasn’t taking no for an answer and tried every sales tactic in the book, which only made us more uncomfortable. We paid for the service call and sent him on his way…
Wasatch came out the following morning. The tech (I believe his name was Nick Nash) goes around back to our AC unit, opens it up, flips a breaker and it immediately turns on. (!!!) He checked the furnace, which was also perfectly fine! He checked everything over and couldn’t find a single thing wrong!!! The storm just tripped the breaker. Actually noted how several things were recently replaced and while it is an older unit, it’s still running well. He charged us for a service call only! He was friendly, knowledgeable, on-time and I am so glad there are still people like him in this world! I just don’t know what we would have done without his second opinion and we are so grateful his honesty saved us thousands of dollars that we truly didn’t have.
Five stars from us! We will recommend them to everyone we know!

First real snow of the year and my furnace quit working. I called Wasatch hoping they could have time to look at my problem and within an hour they had one of the most knowledgeable and friendliest Technicians I have ever met. He went straight to work and within an hour my furnace was up and running. They went over and above and when it came time to pay my bill they charged me less than one of the bigger companies charge just to drive out and look at the problem.
If you want to be treated fair and at a very affordable price then please give Wasatch a call.

These folks are awesome I called him they were too busy to come out and gave me another number of a person to call But he also did what no other repair man would do he explain to me to check for something that might be the problem and it was thank you

We were without heat overnight on Monday. Based on FB recommendations (thank you) I contacted Wasatch Heating & Air for help first thing Tuesday morning and got a response right away. I spoke with Wayne (owner) and he worked us into thier busy schedule. Service tech Gregg came out and after several trips resolved the reoccurring issue, finally after years! But that's not all, during the service call I brought up a concern due to a poor furnace install 5 years ago that continues to cause problems. (This install also resulted in the reason I called Wasatch in the first place). Due to the severity of the second issue Wayne came back later with Gregg. He ended up pulling out and disposing of a trashcan full of insulation material that was disintegrating, (it was original with the house and should have been replaced with metal, we were told the insulation was fine-cheap tactic), also he noticed the coil wasn't replaced as should have been, the AC was jimmy rigged instead of installed correctly, and the furnace filter box was built in such a way that the filter was hardly working, hence lots of dust in my house and furnace, even tho I regularly changed the filter. They sealed up everything tight and my furnace works GREAT!
Bottom line, don't go cheap, go with the pros!!! Wasatch knows what they are doing and I will have them back in the spring to fix all the issues from the original install of which we thought we were getting a good deal...ugh!
BTW, Wasatch did all of this for one service call at the going rate!
Be careful who you choose for your HVAC needs. Redoing incorrect work can be costly and unnecessary. HVAC is not something to scrimp on, especially with Utah seasonal weather. I wish we had found them sooner!

I would never consider using anyone other than Wasatch Heating & Air! They are honest to a fault, operate with extreme integrity and genuinely nice people. I have a home in Salt Lake and live out of town. They know my property, provide me the best advice on my HVAC system and never try to push me towards something that would make them more money. They let me know just to keep maintaining my existing system and when the time comes, to replace it. This company is the best, don't look at any other place, this is the one you can trust!

However, Wasatch Heating & Air stepped up to bat and serviced the hot water heater the same day, actually that same morning. Within the same of hour of me calling! Call it a stroke of luck...for the same day service...
The lady I spoke to was awesome that took my info! And Gregg, service tech was awesome as well! Was in and out within 45 min getting the job done! Being an easy fix and I think!

Great experience. The technician showed up on time, ran through the diagnostic test to see what was needing to be fixed on my ac unit, and was able to fix the issue. The technician was not pushy with up selling more than what was needed. Great experience overall.

I’m absolutely taken. If you are having problems with heating or cooling, you need to call them now. This company and its employees; hands down some of the best people I have worked with. The secretary Aly was so heartwarming and welcoming when I called their place of business. The technician Gregg, very wise and efficient, super nice guy. I gave them a complete mess from a previous technician that shorted my whole heating system. When Gregg noticed how bad the damage was he immediately called the owner. To my surprise, the owner Wayne personally came to my home and diagnosed and assisted Gregg. Wow, that really shows you how much these people care about the customers. Hands down, I will not call anyone else to work on my system ever again. I just saved them to my IPhone permanently. Please call them, fair price, honest and reliable. These folks have done work for me, and Because of my business dealings I've had the opportunity to observe them on a number of jobs. They arrive on time, stay until the work is done. One of my team had a mutual late night scare with one of their techs when they bumped into each other while working late. 🙂 They also run a very, very clean site, and show up with EVERYTHING they need to do the job properly. They aren't running back and forth on your dime because they forget stuff. I've watched Nick Nash and his techs rip out and replace old units, fix stuff, troubleshoot etc. I feel very comfortable recommending them for any home or commercial job!

Fixed are heater that action never has done right sence we bought it brand new from them. Put a hot water heater in to really fast. Thank you for fixing all are problems
We came in because our fernices blower motor was out but we thought it was the capacitor. They tested the capacitor for free and even helped us out getting a new motor. They where less hassle and more affordable than going threw our home warranty.

The AC in my house quit one night, I called them mid morning and they had somebody out in the afternoon. I had already done some diagnostic work, the tech didn't waste time redoing my work, he dug right in and got the thing fixed.
Our AC went out, we got quotes from three people Wasatch heating and air was in the middle, the thing that sold us was Nick Nash because of this professionalism and knowledge base, we felt really comfortable with him, he answered all of our questions, when we decide to go with Wasatch heating and air he was very professional give us some tips on to prolong life in our air systems, it's been over a month and it's still running awesome thank you again Nick Nash from the Roberts family.
Fantastic service! My AC was out and I called on a Monday morning to get an appt. They said the tech would be over that day, between 12 and 3p. Well, 20 minutes later, I get a call from the tech (Kurt) and he's available now. It's, like, 90 degrees out and my AC has been dead for 3 days, so YES, please come over now! He fixed the issue and I had cold air in my house within 10 minutes. So happy! And the cost was absolutely do-able.

Nick Nash, did a great job for us, they put in a whole new unit for us all done in one day and works great!
Incredible service experience. Kurt came out from Wasatch heating and air and quickly diagnosed two separate issues I was experiencing with my AC not blowing and a gas smell noticed from the same furnace. Quickly determined and replaced a faulty part (Even with the system being 27 years old) and found the gas leak with my pilot light ignitor that has been leaking for who knows how long. He had to order the part of the pilot light, but turned off my gas to the furnace to ensure we weren't taking in any additional toxic gas in the air inside our home. Scheduled me about 10 days later when the part arrived and was in and out in about an hour after replacing the faulty pilot light ignitor, verifying all was working as expected as I tested all the functions of the AC, heat and blower. Walked me through how my system works and then reverified with a sniffer tool that there were zero detections of gas. Can't speak more highly of Wasatch Heating, but a special thanks to Kurt who was the most courteous, professional and knowledgable service technician I've ever dealt with across any industry! Unforgettable positive experience!
Really appreciate their staff and professionalism in their work every time I've needed them. Today's morning emergency (Heater stopped working sometime in the middle of the night) was no exception. They arrived a few hours after opening, quickly diagnosed the issue, identified the part that failed, replaced it under warranty and I thankfully have heat again in my home! Appreciate how prompt and dedicated the owner and staff are to their customers. Will absolutely continue to use them for all my home HVAC needs!
My uncle Dennis knows Wayne & got me way off the hook w/my non working furnace! Whipple told me I needed a brand new thing completely, & tried to price gouge me, saying it was gonna cost $5000, & this company got the tiny problem fixed in only a few hrs in the middle of January for only $667!!! Amazing!!!
Wayne and his right hand man Kurt have a combined expieriece of more than 80 years. If you buy a furnace from them you become family. They will do everything within reason to make sure you are taken care of. Quick fixes have been free. I had a problem that was a real bear. It was a combinaton of 3 problems all of which were contributing to unreliable operation. It was not free but was probably about one third of what it would have cost from others. I have done the samre thing in my business. I look at hard problems as part of the education process. Its really nice to be treated the way I have treated others. I have used others and these guys are the best

I'm glad I called Wasatch heating and air conditioning. They sent Nick Nash out. When my furnace was not working. He was here in a very timely manner. He found the problem got it fixed and even taught me how to maintain it a bit better. I will be calling in June to have a tune up on my air conditioning since he did such a great job.
Awesome company. Called and got same day service. My kids and I were freezing without heat and Nick Nash, showed up, cleaned the furnace, diagnosed the problem and we were up and running within an hour. He gave us detailed information on the issue and how to extend the life of our furnace. Would definitely recommend!! 👍

This is a great company! Wasatch Heating and Air Conditioning came to our house the same day we called. The tech found the problem why our air conditioning would not turn off. It was a small part and the guy said it would only take 10 minutes to fix and it really wasn't that expensive. I had him fix it and everything is working great for the past month. I would definitely call Wasatch again.

Wayne was the absolute best to work with. He did a fantastic job. His customer service was great, was willing to look at our furnace after hours on a Friday night and worked directly with our tenants. Felt like he was very honest in his assessment, which is the very most important factor when dealing with HVAC.

Wasatch Heating and Air installed our entire system into our new home. Could not ask for a better group of guys. When our building timeline delayed, they rescheduled with no problem. A very big bonus was that they did not leave a mess behind. Anyone going through new construction know how messy things can get. I would use them again!!! And have recommended them to my parents.
